Traditional Doula Care & Birth Mentorship
Join birth and postpartum doulas, Caro and Alicia, in an exploration of physiological birth and the importance of a supported postpartum.
In this 3 class series, mamas and their support team will gather in circle to explore embodied anatomy, physiology, and nutrition while welcoming and uncovering the layers of the deeper questions around this transformative experience.
This is a three day class series, 3 hours each day (9 hours total);
Attendance is required for all classes in the series. Class is limited to 4 Birthing Mamas and their Support person.
All classes are held on weekend at these times:
Friday 3:30-6:30 // Saturday 10am-1pm // Sunday 10am-1pm
August 15, 16, 17 // Sept 5, 6, 7 // Oct 17, 18, 19 // Nov 14, 15, 16

Meet your Team
Caro (Zewua) Alzate is guardian of wisdom ways for Care for the People and Care for the Earth. Part of her work is in recognizing birth as the sacred ceremony that it is. Most importantly, though, she cares for honoring each individual women’s calling for how they may envision their unique birth space and experience. She is a birth doula who supports women before , during, and after giving birth. She hopes to make sure there is always access to doula services whether choosing to birth at home, hospital or a birthing center and regardless of ones socio economic background.
Some of the her offerings are Mother’s Blessing Ceremonies, Child Birth Education and Mentoring, Birthing Assistance, and Post Partum Care. Carolina is based in Gainesville, Fl and has trained as a Doula with TDMA (Traditional Doula and Midwifery Arts)
Alicia’s journey in this world is to connect our people back to our source of innate wisdom, power and creative force: our Womb.
She has been blessed to nurture many lives as a Birth & Postpartum Doula, Massage Therapist, Ceremonialist and Mother. She loves to share wisdom & honor everybody’s innate healing ability.
Alicia practices as a doula & birth educator in Gainesville, FL. Growing up as a doula since her teens, she brings with her many years of experience & trainings with various Birth Wisdom Keepers: Midwives, Parteras, Chiropractors, Myofascial Specialists. She is trained in recognizing abnormal labor patterns, offering gentle physiological support to bring baby into a more optimal birthing position. Though mostly she has learned the importance of holding the sacred space, illuminating her unwavering trust of our bodies and the Spirit that is birthing itself through us.
